deltalightDelta Light® is replenishing its trophy cabinet. In recent months, the Belgian design brand has won no fewer than 19 prizes. And so, this specialist in architectural light continues to add to its already impressive list of honours. However, above all, this international recognition is an incentive to keep on surprising the market with its innovation.

In just four months, from December 2010 to March 2011, 12 design lights from Delta Light® have attracted lots of international attention, culminating in 19 renowned design prizes. Here is a summary:

• Officer: Interior Innovation Award 2011 & iF Design Award 2011
With its looks, technology, and functionality, Officer undoubtedly adds a little extra to any office. The elegantly curved platform is definitely the highlight for design connoisseurs. The concealed power LED serves the slender, meticulously finished shaft well and gives the overall design extra cachet.

• Link: Good Design Award 2010 & iF Design Award 2011

• Link Reo led: Red Dot Design Award 2011
Link represents a completely new perception of lights. Its versatility makes it possible to adapt the shape of the fixture to its surrounds, whilst playing with different lights, shades, and beams of light. The latest Reo LED version uses carefully selected dimmable and extremely powerful LEDS, which are equal to 35-50 watt halogen lamps and ensure warm and powerful light.

• Vision led: Good Design Award 2010 & iF Design Award 2011
No looking in, no dazzle, and an attractively lined parabolic light pattern on the wall – that’s Vision in a nutshell. This up-down wall fixture uses a lens, which, in combination with powerful LEDS, ensures a very sober and enriching light pattern.

• You-Turn: Good Design Award 2010 & iF Design Award 2011 & Red Dot Design Award 2011
You-Turn is a compact light system, which provides efficient light. This model can be tilted at an angle of 90° and rotated no fewer than 350°. The latest You-Turn LED version uses carefully selected dimmable and extremely powerful LEDS, which are equal to 35-50 watt halogen lamps and ensure warm and powerful light.

• Tournesol: iF Design Award 2011
The design of Tournesol is inspired by nature with the stress on low energy consumption and minimal impact on the environment. Tournesol consists of a narrow handle crowned with a round stamper of 6 power LEDS.

• Neckline: iF Design Award 2011
The elegantly curved Neckline with its carved fixture is the symbiotic emblem of design and functionality. The result is a splendid diffuse light that spreads gently through the room.

• Ultra Spy: iF Design Award 2011
The design is submerged into the ceiling so that the frameless finish highlights the cylinder shape. Ultra Spy provides more effective performances. Designed for demanding surrounds, it is the champion of flexibility. And so, the round tube can be inserted into the ceiling or can rotate outwards 360° in one smooth movement.

• Ultra Scan: iF Design Award 2011
With Ultra Scan you can now also admire the Delta Light® Ultra-line outdoors. This design uses 3 warm white LEDS and thereby the light effect of Ultra Scan exceeds all expectations and illuminates paths, drives, or special elements in your garden with ambience.

• Ultra Twin led: iF Design Award 2011 & Red Dot Design Award 2011
In line with the tube shapes of the Ultra range, Ultra Twin combines two cylinders to make a strong architectural statement. Ultra Twin can be fitted onto the ceiling or onto a track with an adapter. The Xicato LEDS, used for the first time in the Ultra Twin, form a genuine LED equivalent for halogen that does not allow for any compromises either aesthetically or technically.

• Husk: iF Design Award 2011
Architectural stress or decorative eye-catcher? Husk hangs elegantly somewhere on the border between the two. It is sober, yet striking, recognisable, and nevertheless distinct. The bottom section of this lamp head follows the lines of a pure cone-shape.

• Minigrid in Reo led: iF Design Award 2011 & Red Dot Design Award 2011
This new generation of recessed spotlights ensures warm and powerful light equivalent to 35-50 watt halogen lamps, but consumes fewer than 10 watts. Submerged conical shapes create an almost imperceptible transition from the intense LED light to the ceiling. This Reo family consists of different variants: round, square, warm white, cold white, trimless, tiltable or fixed. There are customised solutions for any type of project.
