ecoThe days of energy saving bulbs that warm up slowly are over. With their fast start, instant-on lamps, the new additions to Timeguard’s popular ECO range of energy saving lighting are up to the job as security or courtesy lighing.

They can be used for automatic PIR detection of intruders,  as dusk-‘tl-dn courtesy lights or simply switched on and off manually and they can   cut running costs by up to 80%

The 36W models provide the equivalent of 150W halogen lamp lighting. Building regulations restrict total outdoor lighting  for brand new properties to 150W, so that seem to be a reasonable target for us all to aim for. Wth these new Eco Lights from Timeguard, that would still allow for four lights, more than enough for larger homes.

With all-polycarbonate casings, they  are lightweight, making them easier to install. There is no glass to break and, with low energy bulbs, the casing will not get hot.

Other options in the Timeguard ECO range include a traditional coach lantern and a modern take on bulkhead lamps for walls or ceilings with a pyramid design.
