Specialist in low-carbon retrofit technologies, Energys Group is launching a new Perpetual Warranty service for organisations installing its retrofit lighting converter, ‘Save It Easy®’.

The new scheme makes it entirely risk-free to switch to energy-efficient lighting and thereby cut carbon.

Operators and owners of large sites can now sign up to an individually-negotiated agreement which will take care of all the costs associated with lighting on site. When upgrading lighting systems using Save It Easy, customers can choose the ‘Perpetual Warranty’, to provide low, fixed costs to keep the lighting in optimum condition. Energys Services Ltd (ESL), the expert installation arm of Energys Group, can even perform ongoing lighting maintenance duties on site.

This new service makes it easy for organisations to budget for the long-term and accurately assess the risks of an energy-efficient lighting installation. Fees are based on the operating hours of the lighting, so sites with short operating hours will pay a lower fee.

Under the Perpetual Warranty service, there are two options available:

Product Perpetual Warranty – Energys provides replacements for Save It Easy ballasts and T5 lamps that have reached the end of their life. This provides a very easy understanding of the ongoing cost of lighting which will be less than the original installation.

Full Perpetual Warranty – Energys technicians carry out scheduled site visits (to suit the customer), providing the labour and parts to replace any Save It Easy ballasts and lamps that have reached the end of their life. This service can be extended to include other lighting as well including the quarterly drop tests required for emergency lighting

Energys has already begun providing its extended warranty service at major public sector sites in the South West.
