New Glamox plug-in Tool for PDMS Users Drastically Cuts Lighting Design Times

Lighting solutions specialist Glamox has launched the Glamox PDMS Plug-in 1.0 tool (‘Glamox Plug-in’) for users of PDMS, the popular 3D modelling software program used by engineers on many oil & gas development projects.
Once the Glamox Plug-in is installed, PDMS users can simply generate the 3D files they require to carry out complex lighting calculations, saving hundreds of man-hours.
Glamox PDMS Plug-in 1.0 simplifies lighting design
The Glamox Plug-in generates files suitable for lighting calculations. These files are created in .dgn format for Glamox’s OptiWin 3D Pro lighting calculation program and will only contain the 3D model needed for lighting calculations. Another key feature is that the Glamox Plug-in is able to quickly generate new files when any changes are made to the design.

The Glamox Plug-in is fully integrated with PDMS design software. Using this tool makes the drawings more accurate, resulting in reduced installation costs.
