crownBorn from the evolution of the special project realized for Venaria Reale, Crown optimises the distribution of the luminous flux in roads and public spaces where vehicular traffic at moderate speed coexists with pedestrian traffic: squares, urban avenues, public parks, and service areas.

For this reason light sources with high energy saving and high colour rendering were used.

The two Crown versions, which differ in the position of the arms that support the optical assembly, correspond to two different luminous distributions: symmetric and asymmetric. In both versions there is no upward emission of the luminous flux, in compliance with the strictest requirements to reduce light pollution.

The optical assembly, which contains the light source and the reflector, ensures total protection against penetration of dust or liquids. The airtight seal prevents the internal accumulation of dirt with loss of luminous efficiency.

In fact, thanks to the horizontal glass and the airtight seal, the reduction of the luminous flux caused by dirt after 10 years is only 5%. All components can be separated at the end of the life cycle of the luminaire to guarantee easy recycling of materials.

In LED versions the plate with the LEDs can be replaced at the end of the life cycle or in case of failure.
