Equipped with the new LED Triple Lens module system, the JESSICA family of luminaires by SELUX is an economical lighting solution offering optimal visual comfort for modern LED street lighting. Available in a wide range of optical angles depending on street geometry, it also offers individual, needs-based regulation of light using an energy-saving actuation technique.

In focus: LED Triple Lens module system
LED Triple Lens modules are manufactured using a high-precision technique and guarantee a high level of efficiency due to virtually loss-free transfer of light onto the area of usage. Effective emission characteristics are the same across the entire area for the optical lens set on each module, guaranteeing uninterrupted illumination of the overall area at all times due to the multiple(x12)overlap principle. The large lens surfaces expand the luminance of the LEDs, ensuring a homogenous view of the illuminating units with minimal dazzle effect. Various emission characteristics are available for lighting of streets or squares and, in addition, there is a choice of 3000K or 4500K light colours and various power levels.

Optical angle positions for various street geometries
The LED Triple Lens module system is an intelligent, sophisticated system solution for a wide range of applications in exterior lighting. Flexible alignment of optics means light distribution of the modules can be optimally adjusted to various types of roads. Besides the standard angle
position for street geometries with a typical ratio of road-width to light-spot-height, five other optical angles are also available.

Energy-saving actuation technique
The JESSICA 600 LED luminaire can be switched and dimmed via several interfaces. An intelligent control regulates the light, individually coordinating it to the relevant requirements while requirements-based selection of individual power levels also enables potentially high savings on
energy and operating costs and lower levels of harmful carbon dioxide.

Highest quality materials
The reserved effect by day and timeless design enable the JESSICA range to blend harmoniously into all street settings. The luminaire is made from pressure die-cast aluminum, stainless steel and safety glass and conveys a particularly high sense of quality and durability. The knee-lever
closing mechanism at the front ensures simple maintenance, enabling the light cover to be opened and closed without the use of any tools.

Optics for conventional illuminants also available
The luminaire is available in two sizes, JESSICA 600 and JESSICA 800, for alternative energy efficient illuminants and optics: SELUX® mirror optics for high-pressure discharge lamps have been developed for street lighting requirements in accordance with EN 13201 while use of the linear reflector enables highly-efficient light guidance with economical compact fluorescent lamps.
