Wieland Make the Connection Easy for Full Circle Events

Wieland Electric has produced a bespoke pluggable distribution system for exhibition company Full Circle Events & Exhibitions that allows quick and easy connection of exhibition stand lighting installations, whilst dramatically reducing construction/break-down time for on-site contractors.
Full Circle Events and Exhibitions is the first exhibition contractor to offer LED lighting fixtures as standard to UK event organisers, offering exhibitors the opportunity to highlight their products in a more efficient way whilst saving on energy. When embarking on using the most up-to-date lighting technology for exhibition stands, Full Circle also required the very latest technology in power connection and called upon Wieland’s expertise. Wieland, the structured wiring experts, were able to produce a pluggable distribution board to Full Circle’s exact specification using the company’s GST18i3 panel mounts along with extender leads and various other components from the company’s popular gesis range.
Wieland’s gesis CON GST18i uses a mechanical coding system that only permits male and female connects to be mated in one way, thus providing a speedy and simple installation. The range also ensures that all contacts are connected simultaneously with the earth contact in advance, and conducting parts are protected against accidental touching, whether connected or disconnected. The system also includes a colour coding system for identification of different circuits and enhanced safety.
