CP Electronics Exhibits At CEF Live 2017

detectorsThis year’s CEF Live will give contractors and young professionals their first opportunity for a hands-on look at the latest green-i range of lighting and energy controls from CP Electronics, a brand of Legrand.

Taking place at the Birmingham NEC on 8th and 9th June, the event will bring together some of the leading names from across the electrical industry, who will be unveiling their newest products and technology in action. The event will also see keynote speakers discuss key developments and challenges for the electrical industry, including an exclusive preview of the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations. The topics of apprenticeships and energy efficiency are also high on the agenda for discussion throughout the event.

In line with the conversation around energy efficiency, CP Electronics will be unveiling some of its most recent product innovations at CEF Live, including the new ceiling mounted infrared programmable PIR detector, GEFL-IR, and its accompanying GEFL-HS handset. The GEFL-PB-ABS detector featuring presence and absence detection, easy push button setup and streamlined design will also be showcased. Building on the existing success of the range, the new additions deliver enhanced control around energy consumption and require minimal setup, saving time on installation.

Speaking about the importance of energy controls in the wholesaler market, Paul Robbins, green-i manager for CP Electronics, explained: “Our ongoing challenge is to provide solutions which enable maximum energy and cost savings for our end users. The need for superior functionality has to be balanced against ease of installation and simplicity of use and in striking this balance, this is where the green-i range truly excels. Our culture of innovation and our unrivalled understanding of the electrical market, underpinned by decades of experience in energy control, ensures that we are constantly moving forward and taking our offering to the next level.”
