Ceravision at Light + Building 2012

The Ceravision stand at Light + Building will feature the company’s new Alvara range of High Bay luminaires which reduce the energy consumption of high bay lighting installations by up to 75% when compared to conventional high bay lighting using HID lamps.

Incorporating Ceravision’s high efficiency plasma (HEP) technology,  Alvara delivers the lumen output (minimum 96 lm/system watt) to replace, on average, two traditional high bay fittings. It is also dimmable (30-100%) using Ceravision’s intelligent operating system and offers double the life of HID lamps, resulting in reduced maintenance costs. Alvara’s light output has a colour temperature of 4,500K with a Colour Rendering Index of 85+, again an improvement on most HID lamps.

Also on show will be Ceravision’s Alvara Light Touch software, which allows each user to tailor the system to specific requirements – and reconfigure it if the layout of the space changes.

At the heart of the Alvara luminaire is the innovative HEP technology, which uses innovative electrodeless, radio frequency technology to emit an intense bright light. Visitors who wish to find out more about this technology should visit the stand and talk to Ceravision’s technical experts.
