Luxonic Achieve Record Financial Results In Landmark Year

luxonic londonAt the conclusion of its latest financial year, Luxonic, the UK’s foremost commercial and architectural lighting innovator, has announced record profits following sales of £20million.

This equals a 29 per cent revenue increase on the lighting design and manufacturer’s 2014/15 figures.

Sales have been particularly strong having invested in new product innovations at its research and development centre in Basingstoke, introducing solutions to meet an expanding customer base that now spans commercial, education, retail, leisure and residential and healthcare projects.

Some of the top names that have sought Luxonic’s sustainable, state-of-the-art designs over the past twelve months include BBC Studios, Amazon, Land Securities, Poundland, Pets At Home and Cambridge University’s Dyson Centre.

Nick Tavaré, managing director at Luxonic, commented: “The introduction of LED transformed the lighting industry not too long ago, and having been in the game for nearly 30 years at that point we were very well placed to capitalise with our high quality products.

“It’s been through investment in innovation via our Luxonic LuxLab, however, that we’ve really been able to enjoy a sustainable growth trajectory. This has enabled us to keep ahead of the curve when it comes to introducing the latest technologies and lighting solutions; innovations such as wireless controls, greater energy efficiency and advanced ambient colour change.”

2016 has been a landmark year for Luxonic. Beginning the year with a complete rebrand to mark its 30th anniversary celebrations, new lighting design offices have also been opened in Glasgow and Central London, while the Basingstoke HQ is currently under expansion to increase its capacity in the face of a growing order book.
